International Humanitarian
Law in times of conflicts

This PYALARA project involved the training of a cadre of 22 university students in the basic rules of the international humanitarian law in times of conflicts so that in turn they can spread awareness among their peers through workshops and game-like techniques about this issue. The workshop was held at PYALARA (July 7-12, 2001); it aimed at familiarizing the trainees with the fundamental principles of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRS) and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) and their role in Palestine.
