PYALARA Participates in the IFLRY Training Course “Organization
Management Development for Mediterranean Youth”
in Lisbon, Portugal,
from July 16th
to
July 23rd, 2006
As a result of its belief in building the
youth capacity, PYALARA participated in the IFRLY
training course “Organization Management Development for
Mediterranean Youth”, through its communication officer,
Nadine Ali, 22 years old.
The training course took place in Lisbon,
Portugal from July 16th to July 23rd,
2006, and was
organised
by the International
Federation of Liberal
Youth
in cooperation with The Liberal Social Movement
(Portugal) and with a support of the YOUTH programme.
Through the course, participants were
introduced to important management skills such as
communication skills, skills to face the challenges for
management of a youth organization, skills to overcome
the obstacles for successful activities, how to have
different roles in a team, what the elements necessary
for a suitable organizational development are , what
the influence of organizational culture is, how to
involve youth effectively in the organization, and
skills to strengthen youth role in society
The training course included 15
participants from different Euro Mediterranean countries
such as Turkey, Spain, Denmark and England, which
enabled participants to get to know different cultures
and experiences.
The Palestinian Participation was the
only participation from the Arab World.
